The Unexplained

Mysteries of Mind, Space & Time

In the early nineties, I was still a very young man. I've always been fascinated by the weird, drawn inexorably towards the mysterious. And it was at this time that a certain magazine appeared on the shelves at my newsagents, a book that was to become almost my bible for a time.

But as I got older, took and passed all my GCSE's (I don't want to say that GCSE's are easy, but, I never actually turned up to the school for any of the lessons...) I sadly forgot many of the things that had enthralled me when I was younger and got bogged down in the mundane trappings of day to day life, thinking about my future and my career. That boring stuff which stifles creativity and turns you into a robot devoid of any character or individuality. And I lost the book.

Anyway, round the corner from is a charity shop for St Michaels Hospice, a place for taking care of the terminally ill. I like to browse second hand stores and car boot sales for anything interesting, and what should I find in there but this:

The Unexplained

My book... my bible. It had come back to me... weird. Except its not really a bible because generally speaking people who have a bible believe in at least some interpretation of what it has to say.

It is a truly great book; it's got aliens, ghosts, the loch ness monster, spontaneous human combustion, ESP... in fact, the copy I found in the shop even had Zener cards, for testing your psychic abilities. At some point I'll let you know how I did... but see if you can guess. Everything is in here, even black holes and time travel.

Now, I've already got a section of the site for UFO's and Aliens. So in this section I will explore all those other great mysteries.

The truth is not out there, people. It's in here.
