The Galaxy is a huge place containing over 200 billion stars. Human beings have so far only fully charted a very small fraction of those systems; just a few hundred. So, for anyone lucky to be rich enough to be able to purchase a Star Engine, or bold enough to take one by force, there are many places to explore (and places you should stay away from if you're one of the later).
