Robin grew up part of a large family, with nine brothers and sisters. They were all athletic types interested in sports and mining; she was the only one with any artistic leaning. When her father bought one of those new camera things and grew tired of it after taking one photo, she took it up instead and was hooked ever since.
Despite being part of a clan, she spent most of her time growing up playing with the boy across the street, Chauncey Delainy, and eventually got a job as a photographer at the same paper he worked at.
She is quite well organised, although she can be impulsive at times as well. Warm, friendly, kind hearted, although always very determined to succeed. She is also often just rather silly.
